As a trained clinician in the Governor's Military Support Program for soldiers and families I also have considerable experience with Law Enforcement Officers and their family members. Firefighters and Correctional Officers are another high stress group. The unique dynamics specific to these careers demands appropriate treatment skills.

Also, Compassion Fatigue for High Risk Occupations. In addition, I served as the Chair Person for the Crisis Response Team for Rocky Hill High School and developed the Speakers Program for Parents on Adolescent Issues. I conducted workshops for State Managers and DCF Social Workers about Job Burnout.
I received my Masters of Counseling at University of Hartford 1993 and Licensed in the state of Connecticut since 1997. I was a staff clinician and later the Supervisor of Clinicians at Affirmation Counseling Center in Portland, CT until 2008. I opened my private practice in Rocky Hill that same year. I am a retired Social Security Disability Examiner for SSA.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association and several Military Organizations offering counseling to Veterans.
